Covid-19 Updates

The health crisis created by COVID-19 challenged our school and our community in ways we had never anticipated. To help California Creative Learning Academy & California Creative Learning Academy Middle School (CalCreative) prepare for the uncertainties of the past school year, we created Next Stage Planning group to analyze our school’s needs, as well as the recommendations from public health agencies, and to plan accordingly for all scenarios, and to be able to implement any of them as the context changes.

To be responsive to the needs of our community, we collected survey data from students, parents, and staff. The findings from surveys and meetings helped us to identify the key concerns people had for distance learning as well as for returning to on-site learning. CalCreative also held community meetings where we were able to hear parents’ questions and concerns, as well as providing updates on our plans.

We want to express our gratitude to the parents and staff for their collaboration, dedication, and innovation in helping us through this unprecedented year.

2021-2022 School Year

As our city begins to reopen we grateful that our school is able to reopen to full in person learning for the 2021-2022 school year. We will continue to follow State and City protocols to keep our school community safe during this health crisis.
